Responsibilities
Reviewing, developing, and maintaining system requirements and ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle
Defining comprehensive test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria for various testing levels, including component, integration, and system testing
Designing and executing verification and validation activities—covering functional, interface, performance, and reliability testing
Analyzing test results, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions to maintain system integrity
Collaborating across engineering disciplines, working closely with software developers, system architects, and test engineers to validate end-to-end functionality and mission effectiveness
Leading hardware, software, and mission system integration in secure DoD environments, ensuring interoperability and performance
Applying modern DevSecOps practices—such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code—to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Configuring and maintaining secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources, supporting design analysis with model-based systems engineering tools, and managing risks, issues, and opportunities
Documenting integration results and test findings for design reviews and customer deliverables, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
At least 14 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated expertise in systems thinking, requirements management, and configuration control
Proficiency with engineering tools such as requirements management (e.g., DOORS), model-based systems engineering (e.g., Cameo or MSOSA), and test management software
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Matlab for automation and data analysis
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (or have held one within the past 24 months)
U.S. citizenship
Preferred
Advanced degrees in Systems Engineering or related fields
Experience with mission-critical systems
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
