They are seeking a Senior R&D Leader / Principal Scientist to provide scientific leadership and collaborate on R&D programmes and technology translation initiatives across the Greater Bay Area.

Responsibilities
Provide scientific or technical leadership in your area of expertise (e.g. AI, biotechnology, materials, energy, advanced manufacturing, data science, etc.)
Co-lead or advise on R&D programmes, applied research projects, or technology translation initiatives
Collaborate with research institutes, industrial partners, and cross-functional teams across the GBA
Contribute to project scoping, research direction, and milestone definition
Act as a key scientific or technical authority within the programme
Qualification
Required
A PhD or equivalent research background in STEM, life sciences, engineering, AI, data, or related fields
Postdoctoral, academic, or industrial R&D experience with demonstrated research or technical leadership
Experience in leading universities, research institutes, or R&D-driven companies
A track record in research output, product development, or technology leadership
An interest in international collaboration and applied innovation
Senior profiles with experience as Principal Investigator, Research Lead, R&D Director, or Technical Founder are especially welcome
