Responsibilities
Build a trusted advisory relationship with accounts and engage with Architects, Vice President of Engineering, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), and identify customer priorities, technical objections and design strategies encompassing the entire Google ecosystem to deliver business value and resolve blockers
Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online
Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution while providing best practices to customers to enhance Google Cloud effectiveness
Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, technical teams, and more
Travel up to 50%, to the customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role
Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
Experience with state, local and higher education markets
Preferred
Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and road maps
Experience working with the state of New York or executive leaders in Government agencies
Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process along with a understanding of computing solutions and experience in building, architecting, designing and implementing the distributed global cloud-based systems
Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate a solution consisting of multiple products
