Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to define requirements and deliver solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
Maintain proper documentation of development processes, code, and architecture
Stay updated with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming principles
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) or similar frameworks
Proficiency with RESTful APIs, Web Services (SOAP/REST)
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN)
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and debugging skills
Need to have prior Walmart experience
Preferred
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
