Responsibilities
Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
Draft and negotiate lending and joint venture agreements
Support leasing, construction, and development projects from inception to closing
Advise on land use, zoning, and entitlement matters
Work on low-income housing tax credit transactions
Collaborate with partners and cross-office teams on complex domestic and cross-border matters
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, lending, joint ventures, leasing, and development
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for prompt admission
Strong transactional, drafting, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
Sound business judgment and attention to detail
Collaborative mindset and comfort working directly with clients
Preferred
Familiarity with land use, entitlements, and LIHTC transactions preferred
