Responsibilities

Interpret engineering and manufacturing process specifications and plan coating sequences
Prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings to exact tolerances, and achieve required thicknesses and textures
Test and measure coatings on parts and coupons to verify compliance with drawings and specifications
Perform structural repairs—drilling, cutting, countersinking, and fastening—on aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Kevlar, and composite materials
Uphold safety protocols, Hazmat handling, FOD prevention, and tool‑control discipline

Required

Have a minimum of 2 years of low observable coating experience, able to work in confined spaces and able to be respirator qualified
Experienced on structural tooling such as rivet guns, rivet sets, drills, huck guns, shears, paint guns and rigs
Experienced in the use of micrometers, calipers and measuring gauges as well as all common tooling
Ability to properly grip fastener holes to determine size, length and style of required fasteners
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret
This position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry

Have basic knowledge of paint guns, rivet guns, hucks, blind rivets and experience working with composite material for repairs
