Responsibilities

Liaison between Administration, Patient Care Services and all other internal departments:
Types all correspondence, answers and screens all calls
Maintains scheduled meetings, makes travel arrangements, registers Vice President for seminars, etc
Maintains and updates physician's contracts, malpractice insurance, reimbursement to physicians for seminars, insurance, etc
Assists in follow-up on overdue reports. Maintains files for the department
Interprets departmental and divisional policies and procedures
Coordinates agenda and material for Executive Team meeting and Insight Management Team. Responsible for coordinating and sending out Strategic Planning Committee of the Board
Maintains daily census report and daily staffing for the Department. Also responsible for payroll for direct reports to COO, Vice President of Nursing, and CFO
Collects physician time sheets and reports hours to payroll
Maintain executives’ schedules as well as department schedules
Schedules visitors for Grand Beach House, receives checks, makes sure keys are returned, takes repair orders and relays to Engineering when repairs are needed. Takes check to cashier and maintains receipts and calendar
Provides coverage for Administration Assistant and performs duties for the CEO and Vice President of Nursing
Works with Director, Ambulatory Services in sending out leases to physicians and follows up on their return
Provides other duties as assigned

Required

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Professionalism and confidentiality are required
