New Grad, Entry LevelEast Carolina University is seeking an Administrative Support Associate to provide secretarial and clerical support to GIM faculty and staff. The role involves managing calls, scheduling appointments, organizing records, and facilitating communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Screening of incoming calls and greeting visitors to the section
Scheduling clinical and administrative-related appointments
Retrieval/organization of records and information (i.e., library searches, medical record retrieval)
Communication (written and oral) with internal and external customers (patients, referring physicians, medical complex personnel, etc.)
Pickup, distribution and preparation of mail
General record keeping
Preparation of documents (transcription/typing)
Performance of purchasing-related tasks
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Final candidates are subject to criminal & sex offender background checks
Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle checks
