Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for the Billing Department to align with the firm's overall objectives
Lead initiatives to improve billing processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the department is leveraging the latest technology and best practices
Identify and address areas for improvement within the billing function to drive continuous
Audit the work of the billing function to ensure accuracy and compliance
Supervise and mentor Billing Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment
Lead projects that require broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and the ability to address and resolve complex billing issues
Serve as the point of escalation for complex billing inquiries and disputes, providing expert guidance and resolution
Assist with the administration of the billing process, including month-end closing procedure
Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO or Director of Revenue Cycle Operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or a combination of education and equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 7 years of management experience in a related field, with a focus on billing and financial management
Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and managing high-performing teams
In-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles in a service organization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
Preferred
Experience with Elite 3E or other billing software preferred
