This role involves overseeing a team of approximately 10 electrical engineers, training and mentoring them, managing team performance, and creating engineering documentation and system layouts.

Responsibilities
Overseeing a team of approximately 10 electrical Engineers (along with a supervisor)
Train and mentor engineers
Create a strong team culture
Manage team performance
Recruit additional engineers as the team grows
Creating and maintaining controls engineering documentation and system layouts
Creating sensor/actuator layouts and associated engineering and electrical installation reports
Creating controls component order lists
Creating electrical drawings and associated reports – on new projects and/or retrofit/upgrade projects
Support the controls engineering team on site to verify the proper installation of electrical systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in controls related field (i.e. Electrical or computer engineering)
Experience in an industrial or automation related environment
3+ years of Management or leadership Experience
Comfortable creating engineering blue prints (e-plan will be used in this role, but other design software experience still applies)
Comfortable understanding and accommodating customer specifications
Preferred
Amazon Experience (specs for Amazon)
Material handling
Autocad or other design software
Prior leadership experience
