Responsibilities

Demonstrate deep fluency in private markets – including private credit, private equity, real estate and infrastructure – and a strong understanding of investment structures and terminology
Contribute and, at times, lead the creation of high-quality research and fund-related materials, including commentaries, outlooks and thought leadership pieces
Exhibit exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive, cogent and concise content for internal and external audiences (writing samples will be required)
Drive collaboration across Marketing, Investment Management, Legal, and Compliance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of research and communications
Develop, oversee and refine the team’s library of market-related and fund presentations and databases across public and private markets
Track and benchmark the performance of FS and competitor funds, providing insights to senior stakeholders
Creating expertly written, research-based materials discussing views and outlooks on various asset classes and investment strategies
Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring work outside normal business hours
Build strong relationships with peers and senior-level managers, serving as a trusted resource and contributor to strategic initiatives

Required

3–5 years of relevant experience (investment or economic research, investment management, investment banking, accounting, or related field)
Proven ability to produce high-quality, error-free work under tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong aptitude for persuasive and concise writing
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
Strong financial modeling and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or International Business preferred; experience in computer science a plus
Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot and experience implementing technology to optimize processes
Experience with Bloomberg and one or more private market databases, including Pitchbook, Preqin or Burgiss or preferred
Experience with Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ and Macrobond a plus
Progress toward CFA or CAIA designation is a plus but not required
