Responsibilities
Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise class security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management, preferred
Troubleshooting and programming networked IP video systems
Troubleshooting and programming networked access control devices
Servicing commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT connected systems
Providing fanatical customer service when dealing with customers
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of strong experience servicing commercial electronic security access control as related to Card Access technology and video management systems
Certification or high proficiency working with enterprise software
Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems
OSHA 30 required
Minimum of 3 years' experience in troubleshooting networked access control and IP video systems, including working on the customer's network
Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism
Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential
Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer's satisfaction
Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR
High School (or GED) minimum requirement
Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug-test screening
Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs
Preferred
Alternative experience such as a multi-site Network Support Specialist or similar
Current certification or proficiency in Access Control: Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, RS2, OpenPath
Current certification or proficiency in Video: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, IPConfigure
Current certification or proficiency in Locking Hardware: Mechanical/Electromechanical, Assa Abloy, Schlage, Von Duprin, etc
Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications
