InternYale University is committed to contributing to a better tomorrow and is seeking a New Haven Promise Intern for the Yale Summer Session. The intern will support the diverse operations of the summer session, focusing on residential life and various academic initiatives, assisting with daily operations, participant support, event coordination, and general office tasks.

Responsibilities
Provide general office support, including assisting with communications and updating and maintaining program webpages and other resources
Work closely with faculty, staff, and program leaders to ensure classrooms, materials, sessions, and events are fully prepared and well organized
Assist in creating and distributing detailed program agendas and schedules
Design and produce welcome packets and other orientation materials with helpful information, advice, and resources for participants
Support student move-in and move-out processes, including check-in and check-out logistics and on-site assistance
Serve as a chaperone for and support participants on field trips, excursions, and other program activities
Perform other duties as assigned to support Yale Summer Session operations
Participate in occasional evening and weekend work as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of comfort working with diverse groups
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, to be resourceful and proactive, and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with program coordination, event planning, or student services
Familiarity with academic programs, higher-education settings, or summer learning initiatives
Proficiency with website management or content-update tools, and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting
