InternSheppard Pratt is a leading organization in mental health services, and they are seeking interns for their Mental Health Counseling and Social Work program. Interns will co-lead therapy sessions and provide individual counseling while receiving clinical supervision.

Responsibilities
Co-lead group therapy sessions with a licensed social worker or professional counselor
Provide individual counseling to an assigned caseload
Provide support and practice de-escalation skills 'in the moment' when students are in need of support
Participate in weekly clinical supervision
Qualification
Required
Advanced year Master's of Social Work students or Master's of Mental Health Counseling students
Commitment of 3 days per week for an internship, typically 9am-3pm
Ability to co-lead group therapy sessions with a licensed social worker or professional counselor
Ability to provide individual counseling to an assigned caseload
Ability to provide support and practice de-escalation skills 'in the moment' when students are in need of support
Motivation to engage and learn in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Ability to use supervision effectively and seek out feedback to strengthen professional development
Patience, compassion, flexibility and adaptability in working within a school environment
