Responsibilities

Manage power generation commissioning schedules for hydraulic field installations in coordination with project managers, field service coordinator, and field service manager
Provide on-site commissioning guidance for integrated Airline manufactured systems. This includes system installation, start-up, and tuning
Provide upgrade solutions for the offshore communication and power generation sector’s, along with other industrial and Mobile customers
Ensure safe practices at all times while onsite with customers
Aid with emergency service and preventative maintenance of integrated hydraulic & Electronic systems
Remote troubleshooting, when necessary
Prepare detailed electronic field service reports utilizing Adobe, Microsoft Office Enterprise and/or ERP software . Reports will include records of materials used, hours worked, travel expenses, and other project-related data
Assist/oversee work at Airline service and repair shop locations if field work is unavailable
As a representative of Airline Hydraulics, communicate professionally and effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and sub-contractors, in an occasionally stressful environment
Provide customers with electro-hydraulic equipment training. Complete all job-related training classes as assigned
Perform other essential and related duties as assigned

Required

A valid driver's license is required, and an acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR). The MVR will be obtained at the company's expense
Valid passport is required for international travel
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and/or equal technical experience
5-10 years of experience in power generation field service, including experience with the service of both hydraulic and electronic products and systems
Thorough working knowledge of hydraulic components, including knowledge of Bosch Rexroth components
Extensive knowledge of PLC program setup and troubleshooting
Ability to interpret and analyze complex electro-hydraulic schematics
Proficient AC/DC circuitry knowledge
Available for international and domestic travel as needed overnight, for extended periods of time, or on an 'on-call' basis; overnight stay can include hotels as well as onboard vessels as necessary
Strong computer skills. Capable of working with Microsoft Office and a variety of applications
Strong time management and organization skills. Must be able to work independently and successfully complete multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills. Must be capable of using written and verbal communications to effectively convey plans and specific details to internal and external customers
Ability to work in difficult physical and stressful situations for extended periods of time
Responsible for the upkeep of company vehicles and scheduling required maintenance through Enterprise Fleet Program
Perform duties safely and in accordance with Airline Hydraulics and customer's safety guidelines and regulations

Preferred

IFPS Certified Fluid Power Specialist or Engineer, preferred
