Entry, Mid LevelVidorra Consulting Group is seeking a Lab IT Engineer to assist in maintaining the computer infrastructure for 8000 PCs globally. The role involves onboarding new computers, troubleshooting data flows for scientific instruments, and providing user support and coaching for scientists.

Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining existing computer infrastructure of 8000 PCs globally
Onboard new computers into the domain and onto the network
Secure and protect new and existing hardware
Consult with the business as they require assistance with their equipment
Troubleshoot and implement data flows for scientific instruments
Support for scientists in incident management, user support and coaching, access management
Testing and validation of computer software (complete tests in different environments, writing technical documentation)
Implement the validated data backup solution on laboratory analytical equipment (equipment and software investigation, documentation, technical configuration) within RD (GxP and non-GxP)
Qualification
Required
Outstanding computer troubleshooting skills for obscure issues ranging from device connectivity, network issues, and laboratory software issues
Background with End-user Computing or Desktop Support skills essential
BreakFix consists of 80 of a Lab Engineers workload Static/Dynamic IPs, Subnetting, IT/OT Networks, and basic understanding of firewalls
Candidate should be familiar with the OSI model and how to troubleshoot different network layers
Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory required
AGILE ways of working necessary
Background with computer security
Previous experience with validated systems (GxP) a plus
Implement the validated data backup solution on laboratory analytical equipment (equipment and software investigation, documentation, technical configuration) within RD (GxP and non-GxP)
Support for scientists in incident management, user support and coaching, access management
Testing and validation of computer software (complete tests in different environments, writing technical documentation)
Familiar with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
Microsoft Excel skills a plus
Must have outstanding communication skills
Candidate must be a team player
Self-starter, attention to detail and willingness to learn new things a must
Must be willing to follow processes, procedures and guidance
Excellent organizational skills is a must
Experience in leading team is a plus
