Responsibilities
Work on multiple ongoing projects related to educational technology
Collaborate with team members to design and implement frameworks for teaching and learning
Collaborate with team members to integrate education concepts with technological advancements (e.g., LLMs, generative AI, user interfaces)
Support structured algorithm and system research on machine learning
Test and debug lines of code and optimize performance
Support development and check accuracy of Large Language Models (LLMs) designed to support education related activities
Integrate LLMs, generative AI, and user interfaces
Produce written documentation for code and datasets
Collaborate with other computer and data scientists to propose solutions, reduce inefficiencies, and support ongoing activities
Qualification
Required
Working towards a M.S. or a Ph.D. in Computer Science, machine learning, data science, or related field
Must possess strong Software Engineering skills and communication skills
Experience using R, Java, C++, and/or Python for data science
Preferred
Experience using and creating technology and AI (including generative AI) for educational spaces
Publications in your field a plus Effective communicator, including excellent writing skills and the ability present research plans and findings in compelling ways
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident
Strong interpersonal skills
