Responsibilities
Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
Document, track and resolve issues using a ticketing system
Adhere to security and compliance requirements in a highly regulated environment
Install and update company software and hardware as needed
Track and assign IT assets issued to end users via an ITAM system
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Be able to protect confidentiality of sensitive organizational data
Keen attention to detail
Good organization, time management and prioritization
Efficient troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening
Great customer service and interpersonal skills with employees at all levels
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or computer engineering required. May substitute combination of vocational/technical education and 1+ years' experience as an IT Specialist
1+ year of experience in the IT field (may include practicum or internship experience)
Background Check required
Drug Screening Required
Security clearance may be required
Preferred
Microsoft environment (including GCC High tenant), Entra, Intune, and Azure
Experience creating and managing end-user accounts
Experience with troubleshooting networking issues
Solid understanding of Windows endpoints and IOS platforms
