Responsibilities
Create and edit substation and transmission line drawings
Produce and revise drawings with AutoCAD or other related CAD tools
Create, revise, and maintain detailed electrical drawings, including substation layouts, transmission and distribution plans, system protection schematics, wiring diagrams, survey maps, structural details, and equipment drawings associated with utility infrastructure
Apply and maintain company drafting standards
Convert engineering sketches, field notes, and markups into accurate CAD drawings
Collaborate with engineers and field personnel to collect technical information needed for accurate drawings and incorporate red/green markups and field revisions into proper documentation
Other support duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of any two (2) of the following high school or college math classes with a grade of C or better: Algebra, Geometry, or Trigonometry. Transcript required prior to interview. Please be prepared to disclose your transcripts
Must have two years of CAD education in high school or above or equivalent experience
