Responsibilities
Will support daily electrical project management, client interface, and provide direction to electrical engineers, designers, and production staff on the production of on time and quality controlled project specific electrical deliverables
Client interface
Electrical conceptual and detailed designs, methods and materials specifications, electrical equipment application
NEC compliance, building code compliance, feasibility studies, adherence to budgets and schedules, cost estimating, field survey, construction administration
Support of procurement and construction activities
Position will work under the direction of senior engineers
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 7 years progressive experience is required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field, with a PE
Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications
Working knowledge and experience using AutoCad, and 3D modeling software such as Revit, and MS office
Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects
Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision
Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required
Preferred
Previous experience with electrical power distribution, grounding, motor control, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems is preferred
Experience with industrial /power distribution and building systems, motor controls, control systems and grounding
Experience working on multidisciplinary design and construction projects
Proficiency with electrical analysis software such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP
