Laser Operator 1st Shift
Lindsay Corporation is a global leader in innovation across various segments, including irrigation and infrastructure. They are seeking a Laser Operator to assemble and modify electrical equipment while ensuring safe work practices and maintaining production machinery.

Responsibilities
Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses
Responsible for accurately measuring and precisely cutting materials involved in the assigned work
Operates CNC machines to meet parts per hour requirements
Work at different workstations as production needs require
Learn to do simple setups, change punches and die sets, bits and saw blades
Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
Ability to work with other team members to accomplish the job
Ability to maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment by cleaning, lubricating and adjusting parts
Assist in accurate and timely inventory control management both physically and transactionally
Other duties as assigned by his/her manager to ensure the best possible Safety, Quality and Cost deliverables for Lindsay
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of metal cutting and punching processes and equipment
Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
Math skills including good understanding of adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Ability to read tape measure, calipers and blueprints drawings
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Trained in forklift operation a plus or willing to be trained in this area
Trained in Overhead Crane Operation or willing to be trained in this area
Must be able and willing to program all CNC Equipment
Must be able to communicate with supporting resources such as Software support and Equipment Technicians
Must operate safety equipment/devices and help provide a safe working environment by maintaining good housekeeping practices
Must be able to Communicate in English
