Responsibilities
Assist in coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications using languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or SQL
Participate in analyzing business requirements, documenting workflows, and transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms
Support data management tasks, including database updates, querying, and creating reports or dashboards (e.g., using MS Excel, SQL, or visualization tools)
Assist with security compliance monitoring, software patching, and supporting network/data center operations
Prepare technical reports, user documentation, and maintain inventory records for IT assets
Assist with project planning, attending team meetings, and coordinating with stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State
Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students) OR currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C
Assist in coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications using languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or SQL

Preferred
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++)
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Basic understanding of networking concepts and Windows/MacOS/Linux operating systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with programming concepts and common software (MS Office Suite, etc.)
GPA of 2.0 or higher
