Business Analyst- Retirement Services
JSR Tech Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst to support large-scale Retirement Services initiatives in a regulated financial services environment. The analyst will translate complex business needs into functional requirements, enhance retirement administration platforms, and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
Elicit and document business, functional, and data requirements for Retirement Services initiatives
Translate retirement business processes into clear, actionable requirements and user stories
Perform data analysis using SQL to validate requirements and support issue resolution
Support retirement platform enhancements, plan changes, and regulatory initiatives
Collaborate with technology, data, operations, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Support UAT activities and ensure solutions meet business and compliance expectations
Ensure alignment with internal controls, governance standards, and enterprise data practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Business Analyst experience within financial services
Hands-on experience supporting retirement services, pension administration, or recordkeeping platforms
Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in regulated, enterprise environments
Preferred
Experience with large-scale retirement recordkeeping systems
Exposure to insurance, group benefits, or institutional wealth platforms
Experience supporting platform modernization or system migration initiatives
Strong understanding of data-driven reporting and operational metrics
