Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Gearset
Optimize deployment speed while reducing manual deployment efforts
Manage Git-based version control and enforce branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow)
Resolve merge conflicts and validate changes prior to deployment
Oversee deployments, validations, and rollback strategies across sandbox, staging, and production environments
Own sandbox refresh schedules, data seeding, and metadata synchronization
Prevent environment drift and maintain sandbox integrity
Lead Go/No-Go release meetings
Identify dependency risks and ensure compliance with governance standards
Act as a liaison between developers, QA, and business stakeholders
Provide release status updates, documentation, and compliance reporting
Qualification
Required
MUST be a US Citizen/Green Card Holder/H1-B
Gearset Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Gearset comparisons, deployments, CI/CD monitoring, and backup/restore
Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata, deployment limits, and environment management
Version Control: Solid experience with Git and branching strategies
DevOps Mindset: Experience implementing DevOps best practices, automation, and quality checks (e.g., static code analysis)
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
Preferred
Experience with additional DevOps tools such as Copado, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, etc.)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Knowledge of other Salesforce Clouds (Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud)
Experience with Salesforce automation and testing tools (Selenium, Provar, TOSCA, Katalon)
