Responsibilities
Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- to large-size projects
Develops technical client relationships and plays a role in selling
Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Approves and signs off on work products
Leader in one or more areas of technology
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on complex projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Active California PE License
Preferred
15+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
Experience performing geotechnical engineering for Water/Wastewater and Conveyance projects
Plans, Specifications, and Estimates package creation
Project Management experience
Active California GE License or ability to obtain within 6 months
