Structural Project Manager
Responsibilities
Management of a project team
Understands and follows the company’s standard CADD/BIM procedures for all project delivery
Responsible for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices in broad areas
Assists in the supervision of work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel within the firm
Conduct construction management tasks such as construction observation, submittal/shop drawing reviews and RFI coordination
Attend client meetings for assigned projects and develop relationships with the clients and design team
Attend review meetings with clients, consultants and/or city staff and become familiar with plan coordination process
Participate in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, reviewing designs and drawings performed by others, and/or site visits
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to achieve a license within one year
5+ years of experience in structural engineering required
Strong Autodesk, Revit and AutoCAD skills
Experience with leading teams and projects
