InternFordham University is seeking a Graduate Intern for Wellness & AODE to assist with overseeing Wellness Initiatives and the Alcohol and Other Drug Education program. The intern will provide counseling, maintain judicial sanctions, and support wellness programming efforts.

Responsibilities
Provides motivational interview style, harm reduction focused counseling meetings for students who are sanctioned to BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening Intervention for College Students) and CASICS (Cannabis Screening Intervention for College Students) for Alcohol and Drug violations
Assists in maintaining and tracking Judicial Sanctions
Assists with research and creation of newsletter on safe behaviors for high-risk times (i.e.; Saint Patrick’s Day; Spring Break; etc.)
Provides support for some Wellness and Alcohol & Drug Education programming efforts such as alcohol screening days; nutritional wellness, etc
May assist with the advisement of clubs on large-scale evening and weekend events as assigned on a rotational basis
Performs additional duties, as deemed appropriate and as assigned by the Director
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Possesses an interest and willingness to learn alcohol and other drug prevention and intervention strategies
Preferred
Enrolled in a graduate program, preferably in Counseling, Higher Education, Social Work or related field
Experience with Student Life, Peer Education, Alcohol and Other Drug Education preferred
