DEFENSE CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM MANAGER
USAJOBS is seeking a Defense Critical Infrastructure Program Manager to serve in the N46 Infrastructure and Engineering Directorate, Commander U.S. Europe. The role involves identifying and assessing critical infrastructure to support command missions, facilitating coordination of Mission Assurance remediation, and advising senior leaders on infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities
You will identify, document and assess critical infrastructure required to support all command missions
You will facilitate the coordination and monitoring of Mission Assurance remediation Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
You will conduct Critical Asset Identification Process (CAIP)
You will be implementing Mission Assurance and Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) policies to protect or ensure continued function and resilience of capabilities of DoD Mission Essential Functions
You will facilitate the integration of 17 Mission Assurance Related Programs and Activities (MARPA), actions, and issues throughout the area of responsibility
You will develop management plans that align with Mission Assurance program goals and objectives
You will analyze program objectives, policies, and progress to identify trends or deficiencies and manage risk
You will manage project technical resources (e.g., analysis, development, design, implementation, integration, troubleshooting) to support requirements
You will advise senior leaders on defense critical infrastructure issues, concerns, or deficiencies that impact an organization's ability to meet its mission
You will brief managers on the status of Mission Assurance program milestones
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
This is an overseas position. You will be subject to and must be able to satisfy the overseas requirements
This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites
If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations
You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advice on vulnerabilities to mission essential infrastructure and warfighting capabilities; 2) Assuring availability of mission critical systems to reduce mission risk; 3) Maintaining defense critical infrastructure program databases for an organization; 4) Applying mission assurance doctrine policies, processes, information flow to counter asymmetrical threats
