Responsibilities

Receive shipments, check for damages, and sort stock for distribution in the warehouse
Trailer Inspection, report exceptions to Quality, check if all shipping criteria are met, record deviations on corrective form
Fill orders by taking items from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery
Pick order from Warehouse according to the Picking List
Fill out the Bill of Lading information
Complete the Outbound Trailer Inspection Form
Load carefully to avoid damaging the product
Verify pallets are wrapped in shrink wrap inspected to ensure that there is no damage and that it is the correct product
Associates shall inspect the trailer prior to unloading for compliance
Inspect all raw materials and packaging as it is unloaded for damage or contamination from the trailer or items in the trailer
Update and maintain Approved Supplier list, verify receiving paperwork for ingredients and packaging
Full Container Loads Verify that the seal is intact or quarantine product
Cross reference and record trailer number and shipper information on the receiving report
Inspect the trailer and its contents before and during the unloading process if anomalies in place quarantine product
Record supplier lot codes
Record and weigh the number of units during the unloading process, noting any differences or damaged product
Ensure that the driver signs the corrected document
Complete Safety Chain form
Shipments may be rejected if documentation is not available, or the information does not match the shipment
Raw materials and finished products are stored to avoid heat, moisture, and physical damage
All products are to be stored on shelves or pallets off the ground in labeled sealed or covered containers
All raw materials and finished products are rotated on a FIFO basis or per customer requirement
Concentrates are labeled with expiration dates and new lots are placed behind older lots in storage areas. USE FIRST stickers are placed on older lots when multiple lots of the same ingredient are present
Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the warehouse

Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes
Well-organized, able to multitask but also attentive to detail

Demonstrate the ability to work from verbal instructions and manuals for sanitizing procedures
Complete all training as assigned

Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts as required
Ability to do basic math and use calculators
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
Speak, write, and understand English

Preferred

High school diploma, or GED, preferred
Previous food manufacturing and/or Machine Operator experience preferred
Knowledgeable in shipping management and transaction software, as well as MS Office preferable
