Responsibilities
Execute and evolve the Salesforce DevOps roadmap in alignment with enterprise engineering and business goals
Champion automation across build, test, and release processes to improve velocity and reliability
Lead support for Salesforce triannual releases, including routine compliance and maintenance activities
Own the Salesforce release lifecycle, including sandbox management, version control, and deployment coordination
Collaborate with and coach development teams to ensure smooth, reliable deployments and rollback strategies
Troubleshoot complex deployment issues and design scalable solutions
Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce CLI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar automation tools
Integrate DevOps tooling with project management and documentation platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Ensure strong validation and quality controls across environments
Mentor developers and administrators on DevOps principles, tooling, and workflows
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve deployment outcomes and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in software development or architecture
3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience
1+ year of DevOps or release management experience
Proven expertise with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Flosum, DevOps Center)
Strong command of Salesforce CLI, SFDX, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, and deployment strategies
Experience supporting multi-org environments and complex release schedules
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Platform Administrator I/II)
Experience with test automation and quality assurance practices
Familiarity with agile methodologies and cloud-native development
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
