Field and Shop High School Student Intern
Salt River Project (SRP) is one of the largest public power and water utilities in the U.S., providing electricity to approximately one million customers in Arizona. They are seeking a high school senior student intern to assist with maintenance and repair tasks in a Generating Station under the direction of a Mechanic.

Responsibilities
Assist journeyman classifications in cleaning, tool room duties, repairing power generating equipment
Perform various maintenance laborer duties
The job can include maintenance and repair of a Generating Station, cleaning parts, running tools, cleaning up work areas and minor repairs under the direction of a Mechanic. 50% of the work is spent outdoors
Qualification
Required
High school senior student internship for those enrolled in a formal COE/ICE program
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Microsoft Office a plus
Drafting or CAD a plus
