Responsibilities
Assisting in the development of RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js frameworks
Integrating databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL to handle data storage and retrieval
Writing clean, maintainable code, debugging issues, and participating in code reviews to learn best practices
Collaborating on features such as user authentication, real-time notifications, and API endpoints for web platforms
Using tools like Slack for daily chats, Zoom for weekly stand-ups and brainstorming sessions, and Jira or Trello for task tracking
Engaging with technologies like Node.js for server-side logic, JavaScript (ES6+), npm for package management, and Git for version control
Exploring cloud services like AWS or Heroku for deployment and contributing to open-source elements of projects
Qualification
Required
Basic proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+)
Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic database concepts (e.g., MongoDB)
Familiarity with Git for version control
