Responsibilities
Develop software of limited complexity based on specifications provided
Implement software packages for which limited configuration and integration is required with minimal vendor contact
Integrates applications where the complexity of interfaces is limited and based on specifications provided
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline
Enrollment in the university's co-op program (proof of enrollment required); if not eligible for co-op program (or program unavailable), the student will be considered an intern
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required
Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies
Good verbal, written, analytical, and people skills
Understands project plans and able to clearly articulate their role, project goals, and timelines
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Comprehends technical design specifications and possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of the Information Technology Architecture
Willing and able to work at heights on raised walkways, etc. and work in industrial environments which can be dirty
Must be willing and able to work in dusty, hot, and noisy environments
A successful candidate will visit the field weekly. This will include riding in a company vehicle on-road and off-road, walking on uneven surfaces, and entering substations
A pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, as well as a background check (including employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening
