Employee Benefits and Wealth Management Operations Associate (Bismarck, ND)
BNC National Bank is hiring for an entry-level position in the Wealth Management Division in downtown Bismarck, ND. The Employee Benefits and Wealth Management Operations Associate supports the day-to-day operations of BNC National Bank's Wealth Management Division, offering hands-on experience working with retirement, trust, and wealth management accounts.

Responsibilities
Assist with the administration of retirement and wealth management accounts, including 401(k) plans, IRAs, agency accounts, and trust accounts
Process contributions, distributions, loans, rollovers, and other account transactions accurately and on time
Support daily operational activities, including income processing, security transactions, and basic account and position reconciliations
Help prepare routine reports and reconciliations to support account administration and compliance needs
Respond to client, plan sponsor, and participant inquiries via phone, email, and online tools, providing friendly and professional customer service
Assist with online account tools and general support requests, escalating more complex issues as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation while handling confidential information with care
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve routine account issues and discrepancies
Support audits, reviews, and special projects as assigned
Perform additional administrative and operational duties to support the Wealth Management team
Qualification
Required
Knowledge in the areas of retirement and trust accounts beneficial
Knowledge of depository products and treasury/cash management services beneficial
General knowledge of accounting principles
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discretely
Strong communication skills and customer service talents
Superb attention to detail and acute accuracy
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to review and analyze data, and identify and resolve errors
Preferred
Experience managing or administering 401(k) or other retirement plans (with or without TPAs), including recordkeeping and reconciliation of plan data
B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (relevant work experience in lieu of education requirements may be accepted)
