Responsibilities

Serve as a senior member of our Professional Services team in the Modern Work practice
Lead technical discovery and pre-sales engagements, translating customer business needs into solution architectures, scope definitions, and compelling value propositions in partnership with the sales team
Design, configure, and implement cloud and technology solutions while delivering documentation and knowledge transfer to customer stakeholders
Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, driving successful deployments, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring customer satisfaction and adoption goals are met
Advise customers on best practices, whether with industry standards or your own recommendations, around Microsoft 365 including tenant configuration, security, integrations, endpoint management, data governance, and Artificial Intelligence
Contribute to expanding our Microsoft partnership & Modern Work practice through growth in CSP and Professional Services revenue, the development of new technical skills & focus areas, and building relationships with key Microsoft resources
Participate in knowledge exchanges with coworkers, regularly sharing and receiving knowledge to enhance our Microsoft 365 services, including best practices, implementation strategies, complex architectures
Collaborate with team members to define and implement/document standards and methodologies for Professional Services engagements
Learn security and compliance frameworks including but not limited to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 for Defense Industrial Base customers leveraging Microsoft Azure Government and Microsoft 365 GGC High

Required

Extensive experience in Professional Services as both a pre-sales and post-sales consultant
Comfortable being an individual contributor or a leader depending on what the situation demands
Outstanding customer experience
Ability to quickly identify business challenges and requirements
Ability to build and deliver compelling presentations
Ability to craft detailed statements of work
Ability to clearly and concisely convey solutions to engineers as well as C-Suite
Ability to lead multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously
Ability to drive repeatability and innovation within the team
Well-organized self-starter responsible for owning customer engagements including pre-sales architecture and design, scope and license planning, solution implementations, project management, communications, and documentation
Ability to foster a respectful environment by challenging concepts rather than individuals
Demonstrating active listening and consistently assuming positive intent
Outstanding communication skills who listens, interacts calmly and clearly, and maintains professionalism
U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions to Azure Government, Microsoft 365 GCC High, and Defense Industrial Base systems
Experience with the Microsoft Partner ecosystem including Solution Partner designations, Advanced Specializations, and how to achieve them
Insight into Microsoft programs and customer funding mechanisms including ECIF
Microsoft Certifications or the ability to achieve them during the first 6-12 months: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102), Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200), Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-401) and Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate both business and technology topics
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills including the ability to manage communications internally and with the customer during challenging situations
Knowledge and experience with many of the following technologies: Core Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business
Experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High in support of regulated environments specifically the Defense Industrial Base
Installation, configuration and optimization of Entra ID Connect in large complex AD environments
Microsoft Purview, including Information Protection and Rights Management
Microsoft Intune for Mobile and Windows Autopilot, app deployment, device lifecycle, configuration profiles
Microsoft Defender Suite, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Identity
Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
Power Platform, including Power Automate and Copilot Agents
Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Endpoint management
Experience with Quest On Demand Migration tools and/or 3rd party migration solutions

Preferred

Relationships with Microsoft Sales, Technical Specialists, Product Managers, Program Managers, MVPs
Deep experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0
Deep knowledge of developing advanced PowerShell scripts for automating critical tasks during implementations, migrations and assessments
Ability to help develop and refine our growing Data & AI practice leveraging experience with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, Dataverse, and/or Copilot Studio including currently holding or the ability to achieve the following certifications: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100), Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), and/or Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)
Ability to help build and grow our Microsoft Power Platform practice including currently holding or the ability to achieve any of the following certifications: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200), Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (PL-500), and/or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)
Experience with 3rd party solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365 environments including but not limited to Varonis, Okta, Mimecast, Proofpoint, Druva and/or AvePoint
Experience with any highly regulated environments and the associated frameworks for Banking, Life Sciences, Government, Cyber Security, etc
