Responsibilities
Design and build backend services using Java
Serve as a technical point of reference for system design and complex problem solving
Contribute to architecture decisions and coding standards
Work with NoSQL databases supporting data-intensive systems
Collaborate with engineering and product partners in a hybrid environment
Participate in code reviews and continuous platform improvements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience
5+ years of hands-on Java development
Experience with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, or similar)
Background working with distributed backend systems
Strong ownership mindset and follow-through
Formal technical education or equivalent experience
Candidates should already be local to the Columbus, OH area
