Responsibilities
Support and lead APQP and PPAP activities for new and existing products
Ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Act as a quality representative in customer communications and issue resolution
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and similar methodologies
Support manufacturing quality in a high-volume CNC machining and assembly environment
Manage customer, supplier, and internal quality issues, including containment and corrective actions
Disposition nonconforming material and ensure effective preventive actions
Participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and corporate quality requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process capability and defect reduction
Train associates on product requirements and key quality characteristics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing
Strong background in PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and product launch support
Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
Experience in CNC machining and automotive assembly operations
Proven problem-solving skills with strong root cause analysis capability
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
