1+ years expCentral Payments is a fast-growing fintech company focused on delivering accurate and secure payment operations. As an ACH Specialist I, you will support daily operations of the ACH Processing System and ensure the seamless execution of ACH transactions.

Responsibilities
Support daily operations of the Automated Clearing House Processing System (ACHPS), including validations, maintenance, and exception handling
Collaborate with the ACH team to execute implementation, testing, and wind-down procedures for ACH processing
Assist in executing changes to the ACH processing system, including risk limit updates and test case documentation
Complete daily checklists to ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound ACH transactions
Resolve ACH exceptions, including unpostable transactions, risk limit violations, returns, reclamations, and Written Statements of Unauthorized Debit (WSUD)
Prepare monthly reports and perform trend analysis to support internal strategy and oversight
Maintain and update operational procedures to reflect current regulatory and business requirements
Support internal departments and Partners with inquiries, troubleshooting, and education on Nacha rules and ACH operations
Identify opportunities to improve ACH processes and service delivery
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or 1–3 years of experience in ACH processing, account reconciliation, or financial operations
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret financial data
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational and time management skills
Comfort with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
A collaborative approach to team-based work
Preferred
Familiarity with Nacha Operating Rules and ACH processing
Experience with ACHPS (FIS/eFunds)
Working knowledge of banking regulations and ACH functionality
