Responsibilities
Work with data science, product, engineering, operations, and clinical teams to define requirements for Homeward’s data infrastructure
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a uniform and consistent taxonomy and data collection practices that yield high quality analytics and insights for now and the future
Design and build infrastructure to ingest, store, and report on members’ health data, such as claims data, lab results, medications, clinical data and more
Design and implement workflows for ingestion and transformation for various data sources
Work with a modern data engineering stack - some pieces of ours include Airbyte, Snowflake, and Metabase
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on development experience
Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools, data modeling, and modern cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, dbt)
Proficiency with SQL and Python for building and maintaining robust data workflows
Experience working with structured and semi-structured data from various sources, including APIs and file-based systems
Implemented infrastructure in AWS
Preferred
Experience in regulated domains (HIPPA, PHI), or in healthcare systems
Background in building scalable data infrastructure in early-stage or startup environments
Experience with GenAI tooling
