Responsibilities
Design and create underground utilities plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards
Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles
Perform field assessments and compile data and reports
Gain real-world experience working on actual projects alongside licensed professionals that are experts in their fields
Assist on a variety of projects doing such things as calculations, data analysis, drawings/renderings, cost estimates, and preparing design plans
Work on software and systems such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Office products, and Bluebeam Revu
Work as a member of a team that coordinates with other internal teams and external subconsultants and clients
Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence
Duties include occasional field work
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
Must be willing to be in the Columbus, OH office at least 3 days per week
Pursuing BS in civil engineering, environmental engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D or ArcGIS
