Senior Education Data Support & UAT Analyst (Remote – U.S.)

CrowdPlat is seeking a Senior Education Data Support & UAT Analyst to support a large-scale statewide student data platform. This role involves customer support, user acceptance testing, technical documentation, and stakeholder engagement, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system quality and user experience.

Responsibilities

Research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical support tickets related to student data submissions and system functionality
Prioritize and escalate complex issues to development or product teams
Serve as a business point of contact for support communications and meetings
Develop strong functional knowledge through training, documentation, and system resources
Develop and execute UAT plans to validate new features and system enhancements
Document, track, and coordinate resolution of defects with Product Owners and project teams
Collect and analyze end-user feedback to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure testing aligns with business requirements and agency standards
Create clear, user-friendly technical and functional documentation
Maintain up-to-date materials such as:
User guides and quick reference materials
Known issues and troubleshooting guides
Release notes and deployment communications
Customer newsletters and updates
Ensure documentation meets accessibility and quality standards
Support outreach efforts during peak data submission cycles
Document and analyze issues reported by education customers (LEAs, ESCs, vendors)
Present findings and trends to product leadership and management
Maintain proactive communication to understand customer needs and concerns

Required

8+ years of hands-on experience with Texas Student Data System (TSDS) at LEA or vendor level
8+ years of customer support or client-facing experience
Strong experience working with cross-functional teams (product, development, business)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience providing training, guidance, or knowledge transfer to users or team members

Preferred

Experience writing software documentation, release notes, or technical guides
Technical writing or business documentation experience
Experience supporting education data collections or state reporting systems
