Developer/Analyst
UWLAC University of Wisconsin La Crosse is seeking a Developer/Analyst to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support campus operations. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and delivering custom software solutions using technologies like Informatica and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities
Participate in professional development activities to maintain and expand technical skills
Perform other duties as assigned
Partner with campus stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements
Assist with training and knowledge transfer for new systems and enhanced functionality
Create and maintain clear, accurate technical and functional documentation
Designs and develops well integrated applications that meet present and future business needs
Design, develop, and implement new software solutions using Informatica, PeopleSoft Application Designer, Visual Studio (C#), and related technologies
Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing applications to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
Test, troubleshoot, and support software applications to ensure strong functionality and quality
Collaborate and communicate regularly with technical teams and stakeholders
Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or enhancements as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent relevant experience
Knowledge of database systems and supporting technologies
Experience writing SQL and querying relational databases
Experience programming in .NET, Java, or comparable languages
Preferred
Experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer and PeopleCode
Experience using ETL tools such as Informatica
Experience leading or contributing to IT projects
Demonstrated ability to gather and translate functional requirements
Experience developing clear and effective technical documentation
Strong organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
