Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate CAD/BIM and other technical staff assigned to specific projects or workstreams, under the guidance of senior engineering or design leadership
Prepare high-level construction cost estimates and assess project feasibility using Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) methodologies
Develop engineering proposals in collaboration with senior technical leadership, supporting pursuit and project planning efforts
Maintain accountability for the financial performance and overall economic health of assigned projects
Perform due diligence evaluations in accordance with established internal standards, procedures, and best practices
Develop and enforce project-specific design standards, specifications, and technical criteria
Lead the design of large-scale or complex projects, producing technical reports and specifications while providing senior-level technical guidance
Execute engineering calculations, equipment selection and specification, system design and layout, field investigations, and construction administration activities
Produce construction and design drawings that align with project requirements and client standards
Provide consulting engineering services, including preparation of due diligence assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies
Qualification
Required
6+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
Experience leading and coordinating CAD/BIM and other technical staff
Ability to prepare high-level construction cost estimates and assess project feasibility using Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) methodologies
Experience developing engineering proposals in collaboration with senior technical leadership
Accountability for the financial performance and overall economic health of assigned projects
Experience performing due diligence evaluations in accordance with established internal standards, procedures, and best practices
Ability to develop and enforce project-specific design standards, specifications, and technical criteria
