Responsibilities

Build and maintain production schedules that meet manufacturing and customer deadlines
Track progress, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust plans to protect on time delivery
Direct job flow across fabrication, machining, welding, finishing, and assembly
Communicate daily priorities and coordinate labor/equipment for maximum throughput
Ensure materials and resources are staged in alignment with the schedule
Oversee inventory levels and trigger timely procurement of raw materials and components
Keep ERP/MRP data clean and current (job status, material usage, schedule updates)
Analyze throughput, efficiency, and delivery performance; prepare reports for leadership
Drive improvements that enhance flow, reduce waste, and support CI/Lean initiatives
Bridge the shop floor, engineering, and management with clear, accurate updates
Lead and mentor production control staff; promote accountability, accuracy, and safety

Required

3–5 years in production control/manufacturing scheduling/operations, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows (cutting/forming, welding, machining, assembly)
Proficiency with ERP/MRP and production planning tools
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean methodologies
APICS/ASCM CPIM certification
