IDEM PMO Project Manager

Responsibilities
Manage projects with moderate complexity and scope that may involve multiple internal or external stakeholders or contracted resources
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, work breakdown structures and budgets
Define user and project team member’s roles and responsibilities on each project. Coordinate with cross-functional teams
Manage and problem-solve for project risks, issues and changes while ensuring proper escalation when needed
Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure the project is completed within any time constraints
Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders
Conduct post-project evaluations and prepare lessons learned to improve future projects
Qualification
Required
a Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year of experience in information technology, Computer science, Business Administration or a related field, or
an Associate's Degree and 3+ years of experience in information technology, Computer science, Business Administration or a related field, or
at least 5+ years of experience in information technology, Computer science, Business Administration or a related field applying the below, outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role
Three (3) years of project management experience
Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and estimation of resources
Considerable knowledge and application of project management theories and practices
Considerable knowledge of the information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation
Considerable problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead project team by encouraging and influencing others to perform, as well as collaborate across departments
Effective communication skills. Comfortable making presentations to stakeholders
Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft products: Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio
Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
