Responsibilities
Implement and maintain security controls to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data
Monitor for and respond to security incidents and breaches
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpoints
Administer and manage vulnerability scanning tools, including Qualys
Analyze scan results and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability
Partner with infrastructure and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes
Support patch management processes and maintain remediation documentation
Tune vulnerability scans to reduce false positives and improve data quality
Identify system and network vulnerabilities through testing and analysis
Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level security reports
Qualification
Required
Network security and threat detection
Incident response and vulnerability management
Administration of Qualys
Remediation documentation and patch management processes
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Central Ohio
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) in a related field
CISSP certification
