Controller
Supreme Industries, Inc. is seeking a Controller to oversee the financial operations of the business. The role includes managing AP/AR, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles while maintaining strong internal controls.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the treasury function and reconciliation
Monthly financial statement preparation and consolidation of the Supreme Group
Preparation and review of monthly Work-in-Progress schedule with executive project management team
Coordinate intercompany accounting activities between Supreme Group, Inc. subsidiaries and all affiliated entities
Monitor all AIA billing activity and follow up weekly on outstanding AR with executive management
Managing the year end audit with external firm
Monitoring and maintaining debt schedules and ensuring compliance with debt covenants
Comply with local, state, and federal taxes and ensure timely filing of returns
Partner with other department heads to ensure accuracy and compliance of all key areas impacting the business
Analyzing financial data to provide insight to senior management that guide key business decisions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Prior experience managing and leading a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent computer proficiency (All MS Office products)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
GAAP knowledge
Preferred
CCIFP, CMA or CPA preferred
