Associate Project Manager (PANYNJ-Retail/Infra/highrise)

Responsibilities
Support day-to-day project management, including project planning and initiation, site visits, meeting coordination, and assist in resolving technical issues in collaboration with Facilities Operations, Engineering technical leads, and other stakeholders
Assist with reviewing design and construction documents, including cost estimates and project schedules, for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Help evaluate program scopes of work, financial plans, cash flow analyses, cost estimates, change orders, and invoices, and support implementation of corrective actions to maintain program compliance
Help ensure project deliverables are completed in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards and support project close-out activities
Coordinate with the Engineering Construction Management Division to assist in delivering projects during the construction phase
Participate and take meeting minutes in regularly scheduled status meetings with supervisors and leadership
Assist in the participation and review of materials needed for project authorization processes
Qualification
Required
A minimum of one (1) year of project officer/assistant project management experience, specifically in High Rise Commercial, Transportation, Retail related projects/programs, managing both professional design development and construction implementation
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, in conjunction with commensurate years of industry experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize Port Authority software platforms and reporting systems
Candidate must be able to perform visual surveys and work on construction sites. Must be capable of scaling ladders, enter confined spaces, etc. as required
5.10-hour OSHA safety certificate is required or must be obtained immediately upon hire
