Responsibilities
Consult with users or decision makers to identify data sources, required data elements, or data validation standards
Design business intelligence solutions and infrastructure to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval with minimal guidance. Partner with upstream data providers to establish new source data pipelines. Follow and improve upon the local best practices
Develop data models to assist in the visualization and interpretation of data
Develop reports, queries, and dashboards that access and consolidate information from a variety of data sources with minimal guidance. Design and implement specific features and components with minimal guidance
Perform data analyses utilizing relevant tools, leveraging custom data infrastructure or existing data models with minimal guidance. Work with clients to understand their needs and clarify requirements or direct to more suitable channels
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
4 years of experience in SQL and Data Visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies)
Preferred
Experience with data warehousing or data modeling concepts
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python, or R)
Experience with translating business requirements to BI solutions
Experience with explaining technical analysis to stakeholders
