Responsibilities
Work side-by-side with GDIT professionals delivering work for clients
Collaborate with a team of peers to research and propose solutions to a current business challenge
Participate in a mentoring circle led by an early career champion
Interact with GDIT leaders
Participate in professional development
Work on a range of projects that ideally align with their interests
Collect metrics, data, analyze the data, and provide data analysis reporting and clean data ready for ingestion
Use scripting/coding skills and AI tools to build and test automated workflows and models
Explore vibe coding concepts, ensuring these approaches contribute to enhancing innovative AI/IT solutions
Provide insights to help guide labor estimates and decision-making, statistical modeling and includes involvement in technical IT discussions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or other STEM field from a United States-based college or university
Use/understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)
Experience with or knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, vibe coding, and familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, Gemini, etc.) and their applications in IT processes
Attention to Detail, Creative Problem solving and interest in large complex IT program delivery (AI / ML, data centers, Cybersecurity, etc.) supporting federal customers
Familiarity with both Generative and Agentic AI frameworks and applications
Knowledge or interest in exploring vibe coding and its relevance in AI-driven IT solutions
Experience using or building with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, CoPilot, Gemini, etc.)
Strong interest in IT technology – large complex Enterprise IT solutions (AI, data, data centers, cloud, networks, quantum, etc.)
Interest in or experience with: data analysis, metrics and business/finance
Good experience with MS Excel
Interest in learning/doing estimation, risk analysis and parametric models
Knowledge of statistical techniques
Knowledge of Python, Powershell or similar or other basic coding capability
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and solve complex problems related to rapidly changing technology
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
